The Tourism Council of County Veszprém was founded in 1951 which was altered to joint-stock company in 1993, and which is the assign of the Balatontourist Tourism and Trade Ltd. With the fusion of Siotour, Zalatour and Balatontourist in 2006, the biggest and the most complex tourism company came into existence which keeps working under the name of Balatontourist Zrt. Our company possesses in 17 campsites about 7200 pitches, 500 bungalows, 125 mobile homes, 76 caravans for rent, and 120 tents for rent. In our 17 modern and well-equipped campsites around Lake Balaton beside lot of sport and entertaining opportunities well-trained animators organize programs during your holiday. Our company is represented on all leading tourism fairs in Europe and our campsites are also represented in the most important camping brochures of Europe, too.
